Building Bridges Between Communities
Brandon Salutes fosters unity between the military and civilian communities of Brandon and CFB Shilo – creating a partnership built on mutual respect and shared purpose.
Our Mission
To foster unity of the military and civilian communities in the Brandon area based upon mutual respect of their unique contributions toward a strong and proud partnership.
Our Story
Brandon Salutes was established to bridge the gap between the military community at CFB Shilo and the civilian community in Brandon and surrounding areas. While we live as neighbors, there were too few opportunities to truly connect, understand each other’s experiences, celebrate shared values, and support one another through challenges.
Today, Brandon Salutes creates those opportunities through events, recognition programs, and community initiatives.
Our long-term strategy is built to connect our communities for years to come. As long as there is a military presence in our area, Brandon Salutes will remain an enduring force for unity.
What We Believe
Service Deserves Recognition
Those who serve and sacrifice should be honored and supported.
Unity Strengthens Communities
When military and civilian communities come together, everyone benefits.
Remembrance Honors Sacrifice
We must never forget the sacrifices made to protect our freedom.
